Men Decorating Christmas Tree Naked

A SINGLE dad handyman has won a host of admirers by jokingly offering to put up people's Christmas trees – in the nude.

Shaun Welsby, 41, who runs his own home maintenance firm in Bolton, Greater Manchester, posed with just a wreath to protect his modesty as he erected his own Christmas tree.

The cheeky dad-of-two mischievously captioned the snap with: "Does anybody need help putting theirs up?"

The singleton, who also struck poses with his toolbox, was met with a flood of interested ladies - but went on to insist that the offer was only tongue-in-cheek.

Shaun, who has been single since September, said: "I'm on a one-man quest to spread Christmas cheer to all the ladies of the world, even at my own expense.

"I was just messing around with the selfie stick while I put the tree up and thought I'd have a bit of a laugh.

"I live on my own so I set the camera up on the fireplace and used a remote control button to take the pictures. I thought I could use it as a bit of an opportunity to promote myself as a single man.

"I go to the gym and I look after myself so I wasn't exactly shy about taking my clothes off.

"I'd seen a picture online of a couple of men putting a tree up naked and that was the inspiration.

"I did it along the lines of that with a wreath to cover my bits and it seemed to go down a storm. The picture where you can see my bum seemed to be the most popular.

"I got a lot of jokes about baubles and struggling to get it up, but it's all good fun. It was just a way to put myself out there I suppose with it coming up to Christmas in case anyone was feeling lonely.

"Quite a lot of women got in touch, but I had to warn them that I wasn't just going to come and fit a bathroom for them in the nude.

"I always make sure the decorations are up in good time and this seemed like the perfect way to do it."

And tattooed Shaun has said that the feedback on his saucy pics has been overwhelmingly positive – with many ladies particularly praising his pert bottom.

Shaun added: "I'm very flattered by the attention. The women seem to be loving it and I've not had a single negative message from them.

"I'm not backward in coming forward. Men say: 'Why are you doing it?' but why not? I'm single now so I'm taking it as a positive.

"There's a glass door right beside the tree but even with the fairy lights on I'm not sure anyone could see what I was up to.

"One woman even got in touch with me to say she was sick and seeing my pictures had made her Christmas.

"I'd have my work cut out if I did all the jobs I've been asked to do."
